In 2007, the state legislature adopted a law allowing for communities to develop a “Tourism Business Improvement District" or "TBID." Montana cities that currently have TBIDs are:

The Billings TBID has provided the resource documents posted below. They are meant to provide the hospitality community, hoteliers, chambers/CVBs, local government, and others general templates or ideas for creating similar documents in local communities.
